Your journey to the hotel

You can easily reach the hotel by car, public transport or cab.

Arriving by car from the A7 heading north

  • Take the Othmarschen exit onto the B431, turn left onto Walderseestraße towards Othmarschen/Blankenese
  • Turn left onto Reventlowstraße and continue along Halbmondsweg
  • At the end of the road, turn right onto Elbchaussee and follow the road for 3 kilometres
  • Turn right at the traffic lights in front of the Hotel Louis C. Jacob and turn left into the hotel entrance after 50 metres

Arriving by car from the A1 to Louis C. Jacob

  • Cross the Elbe bridges towards the city centre
  • Take the B4 towards the south-east
  • Continue on the B431 / Osdorfer Landstraße
  • Turn left onto Langelohstraße
  • Langelohstraße becomes Nienstedener Straße; continue along this road
  • Nienstedener Straße becomes Sieberlingstraße; continue along this road
  • The hotel is located on the right-hand side at the end of Sieberlingstraße

Arriving by car from the A24 to Louis C. Jacob

  • Take the A24 towards Hamburg and follow the motorway until it ends at the Horner Kreisel roundabout (the A24 becomes the B75 Sievekingsallee there)
  • At the Horner Kreisel roundabout, take the second exit onto Sievekingsallee towards the city centre
  • Follow Sievekingsallee for about 2 kilometres – it turns into Bürgerweide
  • Continue straight ahead onto Spaldingstraße, then turn left onto Adenauerallee
  • Cross the Kennedy Bridge and turn right onto ‘An der Alster’ (along the Außenalster)
  • Follow the road via Alsterglacis and Edmund-Siemers-Allee and continue towards Rothenbaumchaussee / University
  • Continue straight ahead onto Altonaer Straße and Palmaille, following the signs towards Elbchaussee
  • Follow Elbchaussee for about 5 to 6 kilometres in a westerly direction
  • The Hotel Louis C. Jacob is located on the right-hand side at house numbers 401–403
  • Access to the hotel car park is via the small side street Sieberlingstraße 6

By public transport from the main station or ZOB to the hotel

  • S1 in the direction of Blankenese or Wedel
  • Get off at S Hochkamp
  • Take bus no. 392 two stops to Sieberlingstraße

Or on foot from S Hochkamp (approx. 15 min.):

  • Direction Reichskanzlerstraße/Winkelmannstraße
  • Turn left onto Up de Schanz
  • Up de Schanz automatically becomes Nienstedtener Straße
  • Nienstedtener Straße becomes Sieberlingstraße, follow this road
  • At the end of Sieberlingstraße, the hotel is on the right-hand side

By public transportation from the airport

  • Take the S-Bahn 1 in the direction of Blankenese / Wedel, Hochkamp stop
  • From there it is approx. 15 minutes on foot or two stops by bus no. 392 to Sieberlingstraße

By cab

  • Approx. 10 minutes from Altona train station
