Hamburg in the fall
Tips for your day trip in the fall

The Old Country
Pretty half-timbered houses with lush rose gardens, rippling small bodies of water and, of course, huge orchards. The Alte Land is located in the primeval valley of the Elbe and is best explored by bike. Enjoy delicious apple pie with freshly whipped cream in one of the many farm cafés. There is a large selection of apple varieties on the many farms.

Warehouse district
The Speicherstadt in Hamburg is the world's largest historic warehouse complex and is therefore part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. The historic buildings were once warehouses for coffee, tea, carpets and goods from all over the world. Today, in addition to many office spaces, the Speicherstadt also houses the Miniatur Wunderland, the Hamburg Dungeon and many interesting museums.

Harbor tour
Experience Hamburg from the most beautiful perspective. An absolute must-do during a stay in our beautiful Hanseatic city is a harbor tour. Especially in the fall light, the glittering Elbe magically attracts Hamburg lovers hungry for adventure. Whether with a glass of champagne on our MS Jacob or on a small barge through the Speicherstadt - when the Elbe wind blows through your hair, the vacation feeling sets in within seconds.

Planten un Blomen
It is not for nothing that Planten un Blomen is also known as "Hamburg's green lung". Here you have time to take a deep breath as you stroll through the natural park oasis. Observe the colorful fish in the landscaped ponds or marvel at the native herbs in the Apothecary Garden. The lush rose garden is also particularly beautiful. Almost 300 different varieties of roses bloom here alongside small shrubs and small trees.

Blankenese staircase district
The Treppenviertel in Blankenese is a picturesque hillside district with around 5,000 steps on 58 staircases. It is characterized by small fishermen's houses and elegant villas and offers winding alleyways as well as charming views of the Elbe and Süllberg. This makes it perfect for a romantic fall stroll.

Astor Film Lounge
You can end the evening particularly well in the cinema with an exciting movie. The Astor Film Lounge in Hafencity is the city's first premium cinema and offers you an exceptional service. Enjoy the best films in a stylish ambience.
