Our Jacob summer highlights

A cozy spot in the shade - our lime tree terrace

Take a seat in our comfortable lounge furniture or secure a front row seat by the water and enjoy the wonderful view of the Elbe. We are happy to serve you small snacks, coffee and cake or a large sundae. There is a very special atmosphere on the Lindenterrasse in the evening, when the sun gives off a few last warm rays, which then cast their shadows through the canopy of lime trees. The best way to enjoy this moment is with a refreshing cocktail or a glass of wine.

The best summer experiences in Hamburg

Bike tour
Whether up the Elbe towards the city center, down the Elbe along the most beautiful Elbe suburbs towards the Elbmarschen or across the Elbe to Europe's largest fruit-growing region, the Altes Land: whichever tour you choose, we guarantee you: Each of them is beautiful and varied.
Blankeneser Treppenviertel
With its winding alleyways, beautiful houses and villas and many steps, the Treppenviertel district in the tranquil west of Hamburg exudes an almost Mediterranean flair. Climb to the top of the Süllberg (72 meters) and enjoy the panoramic view over the Elbe.
Wittenbergen beach
One of the most beautiful stretches of the Elbe beach is located in the district of Rissen. Due to the quality of its sand, the Wittenberg beach is the last natural beach in Hamburg. A special eye-catcher and a popular photo motif is the red and white striped lighthouse on the lower Elbe slope.
Hello
JenischPark
When you visit Jenischpark, you will quickly forget that you are in the middle of a big city. Meadows, forests and an old tree population with maple, chestnut and oak trees form a true recreational paradise. The Jenisch House and the Ernst Barlach House are the heart of the park. There are museums inside.
Planten un Blomen
The Planten un Blomen park is a popular excursion destination for Hamburg residents and tourists. Let yourself be enchanted by a walk through the romantic rose garden or the Japanese garden with its rustic tea house. In summer, the park hosts many events such as concerts, readings and theater performances.
