Our Elbphilharmonie arrangements combine artistic masterpieces with a unique supporting program full of exclusive highlights created just for you. On November 5, 2025, you will experience your personal moment of brilliance in the Elbphilharmonie. Under the direction of Petr Popelka , the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Anna Vinnitskaya will perform Maurice Ravel's Piano Concerto in D major for the left hand and Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in D major "Titan".

Enjoy with all your senses even before the big concert: look forward to an exquisite pre-show dinner including wine accompaniment at CARLS. Afterwards, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Anna Vinnitskaya await you in the Great Hall of the Elbphilharmonie under the direction of Petr Popelka. After the concert, it's time to cast off. On board our MS Jacob, you can bring the evening to a fitting close with cheese and wine on the way back to the Elbchaussee.

Maurice Ravel: Piano concerto in D major for the left hand

Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 1 in D major "Titan"

Ravel's piano concerto, which is played exclusively with the left hand, is one of the most unusual works in the piano literature. Anna Vinnitskaya is one of the few pianists to interpret this rarely performed masterpiece with technical brilliance and deep expression.

In contrast to this is Gustav Mahler's First Symphony - a classic of the symphonic repertoire that already combines all the characteristic features of the great composer: from biting wit to deep emotionality and dramatic power of sound. The "Titan" Symphony takes the audience on a sonic journey full of contrasts and unforgettable goosebump moments.
