More than 300 ships - from historic sailing ships to modern cruise liners - take part in the big arrival parade. On land, there are numerous stalls, live music and maritime attractions along the Elbe. The fireworks display, which transforms the sky above the harbor into a sparkling sea of lights, is particularly impressive.

Hamburg Port Birthday 2025

From May 9 to 11, 2025, Hamburg's port birthday will be celebrated again. Be quick and secure your favorite room at the Jacob for this special occasion. We look forward to your visit!

Welcome aboard the Atlantis

Join us on May 11th on board the imposing tall ship Atlantis and experience the 836th Hamburg Harbour Birthday from a unique perspective. The special highlight: the Atlantis will hoist sail on this day and join the famous departure parade and you will be there too.

The former lightship with a proud length of 57 meters was built in 1905 and extensively renovated in 2005. The Atlantis has a fantastic sun deck with a bar and plenty of seating. From here you can enjoy the hustle and bustle on the water while we spoil you with a fine selection of Jacob delicacies and atmospheric beats.
